| Bootstrap Bucks Header The Bootstrap Bucks reimbursable funding program is also designed to help rural communities promote tourism events. Approved GO TEXAN Rural Community Program certified members can use up to $2,500 in reimbursable funds for one of four eligible promotional items: banners, posters, newspaper advertisements and radio/television spots. Bootstrap Bucks is a reimbursable funding program for communities just beginning their tourism programs or communities adding new elements to their programs, and it has no matching fund requirement. Certified members can apply by submitting applications to TDA during specified award rounds. Funds are now available. Click on the sidebar or below for the application timeline. This program is subject to the availability of state funds. If funds become unavailable during the term of any project, any agreements may be reduced or terminated.
