Bootstrap Bucks Header

The Bootstrap Bucks reimbursement grant program is designed to help rural communities promote tourism events. Approved GO TEXAN Certified Rural Communities can use up to $2,500 in reimbursable funds for one of four eligible promotional items: posters, large signage (billboards/banners), newspaper/magazine advertisements and radio/television spots.

Certified communities can apply by submitting applications to TDA during specified award rounds. Funds are now available. Click on the sidebar or below for the application timeline.

Applicants must be a GO TEXAN Certified Rural Community before a Bootstrap Bucks application will be accepted. To apply for membership, please click the link on the sidebar.

This program is subject to the availability of state funds. If funds become unavailable during the term of any project, any agreements may be reduced or terminated.
